2014 was a banner year for alt-J, from the release of their sophomore full length album, This Is All Yours, to an announced show at Madison Square Garden, and a Grammy Nomination for Alternative Music Album of the year.  alt-J were named Spotify’s “Breakout Artist” in their Year in Music review. Rolling Stone ranked This Is All Yours #27 on their Albums Of The Year, TIME ranked it #3, and the album placed on NPR’s Favorite Albums of 2014.

JungleFor special guest, Jungle, there is no blueprint to their irresistible, life-enhancing, report-to-the-dancefloor sound. Those with long memories might detect a resurrection of A Certain Ratio or Chakk’s fractured funk here. But for most of Jungle’s growing and increasingly fanatical crowd it’s not about the history. It’s about a remedy for overstuffed pop and bloated stadium house and dull social realist rock. It’s about getting back to the groove.
