One of the few Spanish-language contemporaries who did not choose to release any English-crossover music gained huge success when his debut album received a Grammy in 2000. Shortly after he became a global success story with the release of his second album, Un Dîa Normal. With continued success throughout the early 2000s, Juanes received 5 Grammies, had a number one hit in 14 different countries, and remained in the Billboard Latin Top 10 for 92 weeks. More recently, Juanes has released his fifth album, Loco De Amor, in 2014 and it’s single “La Luz” gained various Billboard Latin chart recognition.
